About

Thanks for joining me! I would love to hear from you!
Like so many, maybe you? - I'm a nature lover. I am passionate about animals and the world we share with them. For a long time, while building my corporate career, I mostly ignored my love of the great outdoors, its bounty and beauty. That probably wasn't the healthiest time of my life.
Long before it was cool or trendy, I learned from my Mum, that we can individually help to preserve this gorgeous planet we inhabit. She recycled long before we were told we had to. I remember as a child in our West Coast B.C. logging camp life, watching a mother grizzly bear with her cubs working their way through a garbage dump, and from then on, have been careful with what I dispose of and how.

I recall as a child recoiling from strongly scented household cleaners, and personal care items like perfume. Having spent the first six years of my life on a float house in logging camps, my exposure was mostly to all things natural. One vivid memory stays with me, of the time we lived in Australia, and a car trip from the rural outskirts of Brisbane, into the traffic-congested city centre, and the smelly, throat-tickling assault of pollution trailing from exhaust pipes.

Now we know that so much of the modern world we've created is unfortunately toxic to our bodies, and to the animals and plants with whom we share this planet. I'm optimistic that with so much mainstream attention to living more naturally, we can each make a difference.
I started with household cleaners by using old-fashioned natural substances, and eliminating all products with toxic chemicals. I then began researching and introducing only non-toxic personal care into my life. And real, safely grown food rules! It is what fuels the one body we have for this life.
Today, it is relatively easy to find natural, toxin-free products, and I encourage you to do your research and Live Your Best Life Naturally.
